Urgent Whispers: Care of the Dying
Jerral Sapienza
(Original title: Urgent Whispers: Voices of the Dying)
A gem of a little book used as both a practical guide to the "doing" of helping out at the end of life and as vigil record or journal of the process, to aid in processing of grief later.

Serving as a "map & compass" for caregivers and family, this poetic reference and support guide is a breath of fresh air for harried caregivers, friends and family. For reviews and further information, see http://WWW.LLX.COM/UW/

Upcoming Urgent Whispers II: The Way Back
Jerral Sapienza
Returning to Life after Caregiving brings its own brand of confusions and loss, paralysis and fear. There is a need for a new paradigm of describing the world of grief and finding new maps, new ways through it.
Urgent Whispers II: The Way Back is a collection of Personal Grief Coping Rituals offered up in the context of a new archetypal paradigm of stations of grief. Grief is not about stages or timeframes or punching the psychological ticket back home, but rather about building a new way of looking at our life and furnishing its archetypal environment with the cues that we're ready to come back and willingly embrace a fuller life again.
We move in and out of the stations, carrying with us certain remnants of the Past as well as new maps for the Future. Joining us on this journey and adventure are the tales of people from around the world, how they dealt with loss and what helped bring them back home. We examine common threads in their stories: Personal Grief Coping Rituals they invented or adopted in order to help feel better and move more comfortably into their new lives as a part of their Way Back.

Upcoming Urgent Whispers III: Tending Life's Oracles
Observing the Omens of Everyday Life
Jerral Sapienza
Not far from the center of a peaceful life replete with Joy and Abundance, or a life of Strife and Poverty, Trauma and Lack, there is usually evidence of a subtle yet urgent call reminding us in its own whispering way that we are forever surrounded by An Order of Things, a Spiritual Message, a Breath of God's Wisdom.
In Health and Healing, Anguish and Strife, we do well to pay attention to Small Things of Life where the details encode certain messages quietly, stirring that fire within.
In Business and in Spirit, in Family and in School, we are always first Spiritual Beings on a Human Adventure, given little roadsigns, little nudges of Truth and Consequences, little reminders of a mystical guidance watching over us to help illuminate and encourage those sweet synchronicities and messages of life.
Unrelated to this book specifically, but peripherally by the same author, we host here Jerral's "Oracle" interests as an online series he wrote called an "Introduction to Personal Oracles", a web-site to help you get out-of-the-box in some thinking patterns, presenting a playful look at a modern interpretation of some ancient Personal Oracles.

Upcoming Tavalon and Amathax: 25 Years of Poetry
Jerral Sapienza
Bearing the names of two of the mystical sources I have repeatedly visited taking dictation of the poetry which has found me over the many years of writing, Tavalon and Amathax is a work of both distraction and inspiration. I have always carried with me small chapbooks of my poetry as "seeds" to help plant new writing's first words in the barren soil of a white page. Tales of the Amathax weave me one direction, far out into the galaxies and Tavalon Tales help weave me back homeward again.
This issue of poetry is a bit of an aside from the otherwise more formal books on Death & Dying and other Non-Fiction subjects. It's been years since I dedicated a volume to poetry, and many of the poems in Tavalon and Amathax have been private unpublished seeds for me for years, their first time coming out in public now.
